Reception photos in the tent at Stonebridge Manor

At Stonebridge Manor in Mesa Arizona, they have two separate venues available. This picture was taken in the Garden Pavillion in the back of the Manor House. They have put together a gorgeously draped white tent with perimeter lighting, and it is one of the most lovely places to photograph for receptions. This picture is during the toasts at Aaron & Jenae's wedding in November of 2014. The great thing about wedding photos is that they capture real moments, which is what allows you to relive your wedding even years and years later. This picture is a perfect example of that - you can tell that Aaron just made a sarcastic comment to Jenae and she sure enjoyed it! The light we placed behind them provides the perfect rim light to set Jenae's veil off the background, and draw your eye to the interaction of the couple. As Arizona wedding photographers, one of the things we specialize in is being able to use and create light so that it draws your eye into the picture in a compelling way. This might be as simple as placing the bride or groom at a certain angle to a big window, or as complex as pulling out a few flashes at the reception (as in this picture) to create the lighting effect we think will best suite the situation.
